Enigma

Sangiovese 100% harvested at full ripeness, spontaneous fermentation in steel with only 2 days of maceration.

"The name is inspired by the first Italian drag queen in 1896, I decide to give this name because initially the wine was inexpressive and flat, but tasting it again in spring, it was totally changed and really surprised me. All the aromas came out, the orange peel, the spices and cloves. So it was a bit of an enigmatic wine at first." Giorgia

And that is exactly what it is, on tasting it reveals itself to be an "atypical" Sangiovese, in addition to the notes already mentioned, the attack is of red fruit with cherry and cranberry, spicy and citrus notes, but also a slight animal and vegetable like hint.

The body is not massive and it is recommended to drink it slightly chilled to enjoy it fully.
