Lacrimabianco

Not to be confused with the red grape variety, Lacrima, common in Marche, Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio is a small appellation covering the volcanic hills of Mount Vesuvius. The Cantine Olivella estate was formed in 2004 by winemaker, Andrea Cozzolino, with the intention of producing superbly crafted wines from indigenous varieties. We can confirm the objective has been accomplished. This is a beautifully balanced wine that is lush with stone fruit, citrus and a touch of melon. Superbly refreshing and certainly primed for a warm summer evening.
