About This Wine
The
full story.From The Marigny: Something we’ve been working towards for a while and are so excited to bring to you: Direct Press Aligoté. Although the grape’s parentage is Pinot noir and Gouais blanc, we find it to be more akin to leaner, more herbal styles Chardonnay, or even some rounder styles of Chenin blanc. No matter how you see it though, this wine is sure to be a crowd pleaser, containing a little something that everyone can love.
Vinification: Direct to press with juice going to a mix of newer and older, neutral French oak barrels for fermentation and élevage. Racked from barrel to stainless one month before bottling.
