About This Wine
The
full story.Via Alpina is the project of Giampaolo Venica of the renowned Venica & Venica estate in Collio, created to showcase the freshest hillside sites of Friuli's Colli Orientali. Fruit sourced from organically farmed growers in Rosazzo and Prepotto, vines 15–20 years old on marl and sandstone slopes. Destemmed and lightly pressed without maceration, aged eight months in stainless steel on the lees with bâtonnage. No oak, no malolactic fermentation — pure, mineral-driven Friulian Pinot Grigio with Alpine lift.
