About This Wine
The
full story.Intense, luminous, ruby red coloured juice. On the nose it offers scents of both red and black fruits, leather, and ink, all punctuated by a minty accent. On the palate it is ample and soft, fresh and ripe red fruits lead to smooth tannins, subtle spice and roasted herbs. A friend of grilled meats (especially pork), but also beef tartare and rare roast beef.
Gently pressed and matured in “concrete” vats, with about 20% of the cuvée matured in old barrels to coat and polish the tannins for nearly nine months. Composed of the classic red grape varieties of the appellation: Carignan (20%) and black Grenache (40%) in majority and Mouvèdre to refine (40%).
