Ve-Ve Rosé

From Casal de Ventozela, a third-generation family estate in Mogege in the Vale do Ave sub-region of Vinho Verde, about 40km north of Porto. Winemakers Fernando Moura and Pedro Campos farm 27 hectares of granitic hillside vineyards sustainably. The Ve-Ve Rosé is made from 100% Espadeiro, a rare indigenous grape requiring labor-intensive special pruning due to its very low yield. Hand-harvested with native yeast fermentation. Espadeiro produces a remarkably floral and vibrant rosé with the natural prickle characteristic of cool-climate Vinho Verde. The name Ve-Ve captures what's inside: Vitality, Vivacity, Verve, and Vibrancy.
