About This Wine
The
full story.Judith Beck farms 15 hectares of certified biodynamic (since 2007) vineyards in Gols, on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland. The lake acts as a natural heat reservoir, releasing warmth at night and creating an ideal microclimate. A member of the Pannobile collective — a group of Gols' finest natural winemakers — Judith took over from her father after training at Cos d'Estournel and Errazuriz, and immediately moved toward minimalist natural winemaking. The Pink is a blend of Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt from sandy limestone soils, whole-bunch pressed spontaneously in stainless steel. Aged 4 months sur lie. No fining, no filtration. Just 5 mg/L SO2 added. 11.5% ABV. One of the great value rosés in the natural wine world.
