full story.We went in a different direction for this vintage of Chardonnay — one with less oxidation achieved by using stainless steel for 80% of the wine and neutral French oak for the remainder. This is a classic example of Willamette Valley Chardonnay without any vanilla or butter notes. Instead you’ll find a gentle wave of lemon curd and minerality with just a touch of softness on the palate from the oak. Pair this with soft cheeses or hearty cream-based soups.
