Blooming Island Rosé Pét Nat

Kamara Kioutsouki is a small family estate tucked into the hills of Drama in northern Greece, a region better known for tobacco than wine but quietly producing some of the country’s most exciting natural bottles. This pét-nat rosé is made from Debina, a high-acid indigenous grape, harvested early to preserve freshness and bottled before fermentation finishes to capture the wine’s natural effervescence in the bottle. The result is hazy, lively, and deeply aromatic — wild strawberry, crushed hibiscus, and a whisper of fresh herbs float above a chalky, mineral backbone. It’s the kind of wine that disappears fast, best enjoyed cold with whatever’s coming off the grill.
