Love Me Love Me Not Orange

California Stars is a collaboration between Selection Massale and the winemaking duo Shaunt Oungoulian and Diego Roig of Les Lunes. Born from a shared vision of honest California winemaking at accessible prices, the project sources approximately 45 acres of organically farmed vines across Redwood Valley (Mendocino), Sonoma Coast, and other Northern California sites. 'Love Me Love Me Not' is a skin-contact white made from multiple separately vinified Chardonnay plots, combined with a portion of Orange Muscat macerated on skins. Half the Chardonnay is direct-pressed for freshness and acidity; the other half is macerated for up to 12 days for tropical richness and texture. The components are blended at bottling. Around 350 cases made annually.
