White on White

White on White is Foundry Vineyards’ exploration of what a white blend from eastern Washington can be when treated with minimal intervention and genuine curiosity. Ashley Trout assembles Chardonnay, Viognier, and Roussanne from Columbia Valley vineyards, co-fermenting them with native yeasts to blur the line between varieties and create something more complex than any single grape could manage alone. The result has real texture — pear, honeydew, and white peach layered with floral lift and a subtle richness from extended lees contact. It’s a thinking person’s table white, equally at home next to roasted chicken or a good book.
