Timothée Rkatsiteli-Mtsvane

Rosha Winery began as a family-run experiment in Akura, Kakheti in 2015, opening to the public in 2017. Their Rkatsiteli vineyard in Kvareli dates to the Soviet era — over 50 years old — while their winemaker Tengo brings a philosophy rooted in natural wines and Georgian tradition. The Timothée is made from a blend of Rkatsiteli (70%) and Mtsvane (30%) fermented and aged in qvevri with skin contact, following Georgia's 8,000-year-old winemaking tradition. Unfiltered and unfined, this amber wine is a direct expression of Kakheti's terroir. Notes of quince, apple, honey, and spring herbs with a silky texture.
