This cab is lively, smooth, & herbaceous, with dill, bell-pepper, and cherries. A Chilean wine estate by organic/ biodynamic Bordeaux winemaker, Gerard Laurent of Chateau L’Escart. Grapes are grown organically on riverbed soils of alluvial clay loam. This estate is run by a famed winemaker from Bordeaux, Damien Laurent and his wife Lorena Laurent. They are known for practicing biodynamic and organic winemaking. Laurent vineyard is located in the southern part of the Maipo Valley. A micro-climate exists in this small area between the Andes mountains to the east and the Coast Mountains to the west. This brings advantages in diurnal temperatures, misty mornings, constant air flow, and sunny days most of the year bringing fruit maturity.
