Ramato is a savory, textural experience boasting “funky” aroma and flavor. Five to twelve days on the skins after full destemming, depending on the year, and then fermentation completes in neutral oak barrels and sandstone vessels.
Ramato is the essence of early Fall. It’s a wine for the tea lover, with grippy tannins and lively texture. Our ‘copper’ sipper (‘Ramato’ in Italian), it is the rosé of autumn, sassy, suave and imaginative. Notes of dried apricot, hibiscus, rhubarb, savory herbs, and a touch of funk make this wine dimensional and unforgettable. Pair with Membrillo + Manchego, mushroom pasta, pumpkin soup, pork and potatoes, roasted root vegetables, or Soy-Glazed Salmon Hand Rolls
