This Barolo opens with aromas of violet, orange zest and scorched earth. The chewy, rather forward palate offers raspberry jam, star anise and cinnamon alongside polished tannins. All the beauty and strength of the Piedmontese philosophy shows in this traditional wine. It is aged in large barrels of Slavonian oak where it rests for twenty-four months, developing significant tannins and a full body.
