Rainier cherry, juicy strawberry, fresh thyme, wet clay on the nose. Orange peel, bing cherry, ocean breeze, and stone on the palate.
A crisp and fruity note lingers through the long finish.
Libertine Wines is a producer of “neo-natural,” non-interventionist experimental wines from the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Husband-and-wife team Alex and Veronica Neely make wines that embody the Oregon spirit of fearlessness and ruthless experimentation. The Willamette Valley AVA is in its infancy and the future is wide open. All the wines are fermented with native vineyard yeasts in neutral barrels. Nothing is added except for a fractional amount of sulfite as a preservative. They do not filter or fine their wines. They are pure, unadulterated and raw beasts of nature.
