This Vernaccia from the hilltop town of San Gimignano has notes of ripe lemons and melon, while remaining dry on the finish. This wine is very fresh and is great as an apéritif or with lighter fare. The “Fiore” bottling from Montenidoli is made from the free-run juice and therefore is a more elegant style.
